Laura Glen Louis the author of the acclaimed story collection, Talking in the Dark , a Barnes and Noble Discover book. Recipient of the Katherine Anne Porter Prize for short fiction, she has had work included in Best American Short Stories .
Born in Macao, Louis immigrated at five, attended the University of California at Berkeley, and lives on the west coast.
She is at work on her second book of poetry, her novel, and a book-length work of non-fiction. With composer Larry London, she is collaborating on a cycle of art songs, Under her spell.
